Two simple choices

How would you like to top up?

Both options add credit to the same SnugZone account. In-app payments are quickest when you have your phone and payment method ready. Payzone is useful when you would rather pay in a local shop.

Option one

Pay in the SnugZone app

Complete the full top-up inside SnugZone. Apple Pay and Google Pay are shown only when they are supported by your device, browser and saved wallet.

  1. Open Top upSign in to SnugZone and choose Top up from the app.
  2. Choose an amountSelect one of the available top-up amounts: €25, €35, €50 or €100.
  3. Choose how to payUse a bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when the option appears on your device.
  4. Review and confirmCheck the amount before approving the payment. Keep the app open until you see the success message.
  5. Check your new balanceYour balance and recent top-ups will update after the payment is confirmed.

Secure payment: payment details are handled through Stripe’s secure payment flow. Availability of Apple Pay and Google Pay depends on your device and payment setup.

Option two

Pay at a Payzone store

Payzone has more than 3,500 participating stores across Ireland. Use the official store finder before travelling, as services and opening hours can vary by retailer.

  1. Find a participating shopUse Payzone’s store finder to locate a retailer near you.
  2. Open your SnugZone barcodeIn SnugZone, open Top up and choose Barcode. A clear screenshot or printed copy can also be used.
  3. Ask the retailer to scan itShow the full barcode at the counter and tell the retailer how much you want to add. Turning up your screen brightness can make scanning easier.
  4. Pay at the counterUse a payment method accepted by that individual retailer.
  5. Take your receiptKeep the Payzone receipt until the top-up appears in your SnugZone balance and recent activity.

Important: use the barcode for the SnugZone account you want to top up. If a payment does not appear, do not pay twice—keep the receipt and contact support.

Always check before you confirm.Make sure you are signed in to the correct SnugZone account, review the top-up amount, and keep either the in-app confirmation or Payzone receipt as your proof of payment.

Need help with a top-up?

If you received a Payzone receipt or in-app confirmation but your balance has not updated, keep your proof of payment and contact the SnugZone support team. Please do not make the same payment again while it is being checked.
